Project Details:
The was an Environmental Improvement scheme located along the sand dunes on Castlerock Beach and Portstewart Main Strand.  The works were designed to protect the existing habitat and control the access to the sand dunes by providing steps at various access points along the dunes.  The fencing ensured vehicles where kept a distance away from the dunes. Works included:

  • Installation of wooden posts
  • Installation of fence panels
  • Installation of wooden staircase
  • Installation of wooden handrail
  • Installation of rope along the fencing
